Have put a link on our District's website. Did submit the 2 outstanding clubs coords last week so hope it will be a valuable tool for prospective members. Any chance of just providing lat. and long. fields to manual update rather than Google Maps string?

Webmaster's reply : Great work. Thank you. I know it is time consuming but it is the district that really benefits from the work people like you put into fixing the clubs. I will look into the ability to add just co-ordinates.

Would you like it to be one field where you paste a comma separated list or one for lon & one for lat.

Oops, I didn't notice the division maps before That is exactly what I was asking for!

Webmaster's reply : Maybe I should move the links to the top of the map so that they can be seen.

Hi Nigel,

You have really done some great stuff with our District 57 map, going way beyond what we started with!

Club/area re-alignment is coming up in our district, probably others as well. My request would be for a set of Division maps, each of which can show the clubs color-coded by area. I would have color-coded the main map by color, but there weren't enough colors :-)

Webmaster's reply : Aren't you asking for what you said you can't do? There are too may areas to give each area their own colour on the district map. That is why I created the division maps. Maybe I am missing something, but there are only 9 available colours and usually many more areas.

Is it too much to give a listing of the coordinates of the clubs already listed and whether you can delete a club which has disbanded? District 74 has to be manually geocoded. Having great fun learning about the 8 Southern African countries in the meantime

Webmaster's reply : When the daily update runs it flags which clubs have been checked. Any that have not been checked (and therefore no longer in the WHQ database, therefore deleted clubs) should be deleted. I will check to make sure this is being done.

You can get a list of geocoded clubs by following the link here:

Excellent stuff. Very valuable. Any chance of having a date last updated on the main page. Regards, Shaun
DTM, D74 Webmaster

Webmaster's reply : Thanks for the suggestion. I've added in the date and time the report ran and when it is set to automatically run. (I will run manually if there is a change that adds a feature or corrects data).

Please leave a comment, suggestion, kudos or whatever about the Toastmasters club maps, DCP reports, spreadsheets or anything else I am working on.

If you are a Toastmaster, please include your educational level and any club, area, division, district, region or international office or staff position you hold (or have held) so I know what sort of people are looking at the site. If you refer someone to the site, please also ask them to sign the guestbook.
